Part of the Myfab infrastructure

Electrum Laboratory and Albanova Nanofabrication Facility are parts of the Myfab infrastructure of Swedish university laboratories for micro and nanotechnology, together with the Ångström Microstructure Laboratory at Uppsala University, the MC2 Nanofabrication Laboratory at Chalmers and the NanoLund Laboratory at Lund University.

Through the Myfab collaboration users at leading academic institutions and institutes in Sweden share access to processes, characterization techniques and world class research and development competence

Myfab aids and supports research partnerships which advance the fundamental understanding of new technologies and break down the barriers of cross disciplinary exploration. The Myfab network is a national research infrastructure and open to users from all Swedish universities on equal terms.

The CAMART2 project

KTH and RISE, together with Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia, ISSP are partners in the EU-project CAMART².

The goal of CAMART² is to upgrade ISSP to an important Centre of Excellence for education, science, innovation and technology transfer in the Baltic States. CAMART² also serves as a knowledge base and key enabler for materials physics and nano science development, vital for academics and the successful establishment of new companies in the region. The project will foster scientific excellence, form strong networks between academia and industry for knowledge exchange, and educate a new generation.
